The Corporate Me

Coach and Entrepreneur

Thanks for stopping by.

I built this web-site because I wanted to share something amazing going on in the entrepreneurial world right now, that could be life changing for those who are ready to hear it. The network marketing industries are absolutely exploding globally right now and offer a realistic way for the ordinary person to have a fair chance to achieve wealth beyond their average work-a-day dreams.

We all know, there are countless claims on the internet these days – outrageous scams and unrealistic promises from strangers who are not all they claim to be. So, before we go any further, I want to share with you some of my story, so that you can understand what has brought me here, then you can better understand why I want to share some of the knowledge and experience I have gained to date with you, who may for the first time in their life be wondering where to turn next to make real change in their life.

Before I found this business opportunity, over the years, I had been involved in a whole host of community development projects around the UK, coaching and supporting people to make a difference in their world. I was often filling in between contracts with whatever else I could do, as I moved around from place to place, sometimes barely scraping a living. I have worked for a number of different agencies, from private sector, government departments to the charitable sector and as a volunteer.

About ten years ago, I began to train as a Social Worker until a family crisis took priority over my studies. For a while, I was a family carer, taking care of my younger siblings and elder relatives. Although I planned to go back to my training, life just did not work out that way…I left my home city, never to return.

My passion has always been empowering people. I love nothing more than working with people who like to get ‘get stuck in’ with others in order to make their environment or community a better place to live and work in. Over the years I got involved in housing and regeneration schemes or environmental projects. Occasionally fixed-term contracts come up in this work, but community development as a career is unreliable and it requires a readiness to up sticks, so I have lived in various places around the UK, settling here in Wales several years ago.

On and off, for twenty years, I have worked as a community leader, facilitator, trainer, public relations person or general dogsbody, working alongside any group of people who chose to volunteer their time and energy to make a difference to their lives and those of others. Essentially, it was the energy and enthusiasm of these volunteers, together with my own ethical commitments which drove me and kept me enthused in this sometimes soul destroying work.

I frequently worked long hours, including evenings and weekends, trading time (that I never seemed to have enough of), for very little money in return. I barely survived, let alone ‘lived’. For a while, this satisfied me up to a point. I loved to feel I was contributing to making a positive difference, and I found that part of my work really rewarding; I met some fantastic people and loved supporting them in doing some great things in their communities.

Looking back, now, I know that I had settled for a compromise; working as an employee, we are always trading precious time for little money. My salary would never afford me any type of real comfort, let alone any luxury. Holidays abroad, regular evenings out were what other people had; my life was stuck on survival. As for any prospects of comfortable retirement, that seemed unthinkable. I am sure there will be some of you reading who already know exactly what I am talking about…

Then, not long ago, overnight my life took a drastic turn, when I was involved in a serious car accident. I had been in a new job for one week, which due to my injuries, I was forced to leave (without pay) and I was on the verge of losing everything I had worked so long and so hard for. The worst part was the thought of losing my four-legged friends who I might not be able live with any longer and then there was my precious garden orchard I had generated and nourished from nothing, if I had to sell my house. I didn’t have much materially, but I had built a settled life. This job crisis came at a time when others were also feeling the crunch in the beginnings of the current financial crisis.

During my rehabilitation, I knew that I had to find a way to regain financial control. I was sinking into debt but was determined to not become another victim of recession. Not only that, in my mid forties, I decided it was time to move on from survival mode. I wanted a better life for myself and my siblings, who I want to be an inspiration to – they are much younger than me. My old J.O.B. (just over broke) habits would no longer cut it for me or them.

As I recovered from my injuries, I wondered if I even wanted to work for someone else full-time anymore, even if I could. This was the turning point for me. As I searched online amongst the few jobs offered, I came across an advert for an MLM company seeking distributors.

I had a little (scarey) experience of an MLM many years before. Although a little wary, I decided to investigate anyway; it seemed a way I could gain some control over my work schedule and even my earnings. Suffice to say here, that this opportunity did not work out for me either, but by now, I had a taste for professionalindependence! No bosses was definitely the way forward for me!

I found myself watching a compelling video online one night, which frankly restored my faith in regaining control of my future. Nowadays, I have rediscovered a re-newed passion and fulfillment in working with others again, in coaching people to find whole new ways to change their lives.

Imagine, getting paid to help people fulfill their dreams as you fulfill your own! NOTHING can touch this…

Now I have the freedom to set my own schedule and do the things I love when I want to

I hope that you are here now because you too are at a point where you are re-thinking your options and are motivated to take some big steps in changing your life right now. If so, I have no doubt, you will enjoy what you what you will learn here on my web-site. Please leave me comments on what you think. Your feedback helps me to find out more about what helps people like you get more of what they are looking for on my site. What, for instance, is your biggest business or career related bug-bear? What is driving you to want change right now?

Best wishes
